Editing II
An intermediate level editing course at Valley College that focused on developing higher level editing skills while exploring theories of montage and storytelling. The course was online and asynchronous; however, I’d hold editing lab hours to help students that needed additional support.
Sound Design for Media Production
A sound design course at California State University, Bakersfield that focused on developing sound recording, editing, and programming skills for both cinema and video games. Taught in a hybrid online modality, it gained me the reputation among faculty and peers as having advanced sound design skills.
Nonfiction Media Production
A documentary centric course that explored corporate media, commercials, video journalism, narrative nonfiction, and their impact on society as a whole. I taught this course twice in a hybrid modality during the COVID-19 pandemic.
